Design and Explanation of Evaluation System of Bank Branches Performance According to Key Business Drivers: A Case Study of Sepah Bank Branches

Authors

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a model for performance evaluation of Sepah Bank branches by using partial indicators through combining controllable and uncontrollable potential variables with performance variables.
With description and expansion of performance concepts of branches, a complete list of pre-test variables, including forty nine potential variables and five performance variables was obtained. To identify potential variables so that each of them describes each of desired performance results of branches, multiple regression analysis model has been used. Number of employees as a controllable potential variable has been shown with the highest predictive value in all performance variables.
Four models of the five models have a description power between eighty three and ninety six percents.
Performance models can be used for analysis of performance prediction of branches. Such information can be useful for reconstructing the structure of branches, including establishment, merge, and elimination.
