Abstract

There is an inherently political activity in all transactions, therefore, it is considered as one of the constituent elements of the organizations and has attracted the attention of management researchers. Although political behavior can have positive or negative consequences, much of the research
focuses its dark side. This type of behavior creates a divisive and damaging work environment that threat overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness, and has an increasingly negative impact on employees. So awareness of creating factors plays an important role in preventing and limiting such behavior. In this regard, the present study was done to explain the predictors of political behavior by using cortical (quota) sampling. To collect data the standardized questionnaires were used. Questionnaire’s validity was confirmed by content and construct validity and its reliability were measured by Cronbach's alpha coefficients for each of the variables. For the analysis of research data by Structural equation modeling and path analysis Lisrel and SmartPLS was used.
