Abstract
Purpose: This study aimed to design a model for the drivers of ethical organizational transparency in the Social Security Organization.
Methodology: The research is qualitative and applied in nature. Data were analyzed using the thematic analysis method. In this approach, interviews were employed as the primary tool to extract secondary and main themes. The statistical sample included 14 experts, comprising university scholars and managers of the Social Security Organization, selected using the snowball sampling method. The validity of the study was confirmed through expert consensus, and reliability was ensured using the peer-review strategy (two coders), which confirmed the reliability of the results.
Findings: Following the interviews and thematic analysis, a total of 300 initial open codes and 18 secondary themes were identified, categorized into six main themes: emphasis on transparency of information and policies, emphasis on ethical behavior and organizational accountability, emphasis on interaction and trust-building with stakeholders, emphasis on justice and transparency in performance, emphasis on ethical training and employee empowerment, and emphasis on sustainability and organizational values. These indicators are directly associated with concepts such as trust-building, corruption reduction, and organizational health improvement.
Conclusion: The designed model offers greater comprehensiveness compared to previous models, with a focus on the behavioral and cultural dimensions of the organization. This model can serve as a strategic framework for enhancing transparency and organizational health in similar organizations, fostering public trust, and improving organizational performance.
