Abstract
Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the lived experience of dismissed managers from harassment by colleagues in government organizations.

Method: This applied study employed a qualitative phenomenological research approach. The statistical population consisted of dismissed managers from governmental organizations in Ilam Province. Snowball sampling was used until data saturation was reached, resulting in a sample size of 15 participants. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and analyzed through open, axial, and selective coding. To ensure validity, peer review and participant validation were applied. Interview reliability was confirmed using Holsti’s method, while questionnaire validity was assessed using Lawshe’s Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Waltz & Basel’s Content Validity Index (CVI).

Findings: The findings included 33 axial categories and finally 8 main categories.

Results: The results include: indicators (destruction of job and professional status), symptoms (psychological and social damage), causes (style of manager-employee interactions), consequences (inefficiency and reduced organizational health, reduced quality of services, incorrect and unprofessional treatment of clients), and strategies (conflict management, increasing qualifications).
