Electronic government or providing governmental services through information technologies including Internet, which is the beginning of a new phase in management of public sector, has been heeded or observed by management theorists and officials of public sector since the last years of the second Christian millennium. It could well set its position in reformation program of public sector management. A question that can be proposed is why officials of public sector have put the establishment of electronic government on its agenda or in other words why they intend to use information technology for providing services of public sector.
